We went to the Wild Animal Park today for Kevin's birthday. Here are some pictures

Visit A Brewery

Well we visited Stone Brewery today. I didn't think I liked beer, because I've never really found many I liked (the exception being Rhinehart's beerdegaard). I found two I liked today. Apparently I don't like the beers Kevin gives me because he doesn't like hopps, and I really do. Anyway, the guy really needed a microphone because I couldn't hear him at all. Then we had lunch at their restaurant. The food was OK. The brownie was good. As was the mac 'n beer-cheese.

Viva La Vegas

Goal Accomplished: Visit Las Vegas

This weekend was my final conference, and Laura and I drove out to Vegas for it. I can't say I really "did" Vegas, as that would be expensive. Really expensive. But we went out Friday night for dinner, and saw a lava show that was free on the side of the road. We also ate at a nice buffet.


I even have video!



Saturday we went to the Belagio and saw the water show. As well as walked around a little bit.




I lost $5 to a 25 cent slot machine. Didn't even win a free spin. I have no idea why people waste so much time on those if they don't ever win anything. Lame-sauce.

So overall, I'm not really a Vegas girl.
